Anointed Youth
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people that ye should shew forth the praise of him who hath called you out of the darkness into the marvellous light
OFOSM Youth and Young Adults is dedicated to raise a generation of world changers that will take the gospel to all four corner of the world, preaching, teaching and showcasing the truth and love of Jesus Christ.
We believe that this generation has been chose for such a time as this to be a light to the confused and searching generation and to bring help and hope to the hurting and dying nations.
We strongly believe that from a young age we are to know our purpose in the kingdom of God and to strive daily to walk in holiness and reach our destiny. OFOSM will be the avenue through which youth and young adults will discover who they are in Christ and will be equipped to walk boldly in their destiny.
The Youth and Young Adults Ministry is for ages 13 years to 30 years and is divided as such:
Teenagers: 13-18yrs
Young Adults: 19-24yrs
Twenty Agers: 25-30yrs
Mission Statement:
To positively influence our generation through love, compassion and truth
To bring a lost generation the message of hope and redemption
To be socially, economically and spiritually relevant in our community and the world
Core Values:
Faith: We receive direction, provision and motivation directly from God and his word to take the gospel to the world.
Mark 11:22"Have faith in God," Jesus answered.
Hbr 11:6And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him
Integrity: We are who we say we are. We always do the right thing regardless of the outcome.
1Pe 3:17 It is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
Vision: We dare to dream as big as God dreams and believe that with God on our side we can achieve the impossible.
Pro 29:18 Where [there is] no vision the people perish but he that keepeth the law happy [is] he.
Excellence: We demand of ourselves uncompromising quality and strive to be the people who demonstrate excellence in everything we do.
Titus 3:8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone
Discipline: We cultivate atmosphere of punctuality, self control and unwavering focus, we are a people who walk on purpose and on demand.
Tts 1:8 Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.
